Default 2 Questions In 1 post =)

First some background about me: I've been playing GW since the beta - but I've only logged about 500 hours on all of my characters (7 total). My first two characters were necro / mesmer and of course the warrior / monk.... My most recent characters that I play often are D/Mo ( i usually use the 130 d/mo build to solo) and R/Me... None of my characters have "beat" the game and I do not own Factions ( just proph and NF)... I read on here every once in a while to get a solo build that I want to try - and start a character with that build in mind.

I've been getting more and more into this game as I am no longer in college and have more spare time to play. I also have been reading the forums a bit to try and up my skill level. I have never played PvP either.

Please feel free to address these questions as you want:

1) Of the E/Mo and Mo/E builds is one better then the other? How about for soloing? questing?

2) What is, in your opinion, the best character build for soloing (i.e. fastest killing machine in an area where you can get good $$)? Yes I know they nerfed soloing a bit, but it still works!

I realize this is more then 2 questions. I've been reading a bit about all of these on the forums but am looking for a few answers that I dont have to dig for...

let me ask this - which build E/Mo or Mo/E is best for questing (primary healer) and why?

Which build Mo/E or E/Mo is better for solo and why?

- An answer that I am sort of looking for here might be something like:

" Mo/E is best healer because of devine favor"

"E/Mo is best for solo because you get more energy storage and hopefully kill the enemies before you run out of mana."

Which is the most popular solo build since they are all good?

I've seen the submissions but some of them require much more effort, and skill, then I have available at this time. So what would be the easiest for me to jump into to get experience with until I get bored with that and want to try something / someplace new?

Primary monk is better for healing.

Healing when you need to > healing as much as you can.

Under the Campfire forum is a sub forum called farming: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/f...play.php?f=234

Lots of great suggestions on places to farm and guides on how to do it, builds and what not. Might be what you are looking for. Have fun!

both the elementalist and the monk solo very well. the ele builds are usually around earth and fire magic and you can get those attributes to 16 with runes. you can also get them better with a staff or offhand that gives a +1 to your attribute of choice and there are also elites that give a +1 to an attribute. so the total there is a possibility of 18 and if your country has favor you can up that to 19.
the monk has the 55 build which usually work around [skill]Shield of Judgment[/skill]to damage and knockdown enemies. this only works good against physical attacks though because virtually any caster has a skill that does more than 55 damage and would kill you in one hit.
for more info you will have to check out the farming forum that blade linked you to.
